- My name is Melissa, and I'm married to a wonderful guy named Ryan. We became parents in 2009 to a very active boy, Ethan and live in a very lovely house that my husband works very hard to pay for. I'm currently a SAHM (stay at home mom) until the money runs out! We have a very active rescue-mutt named Reese and a very non-active rescue-Pitbull named Pitunia. (that's right, Pitunia the Pitbull... not very scary, I know) My husband and I attended the same High School, but didn't find each other until 5 years after I graduated, spending some good time looking for each other. (and some not so good times) Now I'm learning how to be a Mom, and my son is enjoying teaching me. He smiles all the time, especially while wiping strained peas in his hair or when diapers explode. (yes, they can do that)
